July 1, 2020 – Dayco, a leading engine products and drive systems supplier for the automotive, industrial and aftermarket industries, started operations at its new plant, located in Indaiatuba – SP, on June 17th. The facility expands the development, production and distribution capacity for the aftermarket, unifying the former Sao Paulo and Itapira units and, by the end of the year, will also start original equipment production, with the integration of the company’s Contagem facility.
With its 12,000 square meters, the new headquarters will also be responsible for exporting parts to the company’s other plants and markets around the world, through its two brands – Dayco and Nytron. Dayco has been showing constant growth in its production and sales in the last few years and believes that this significant investment and commitment to the Brazilian market will assure greater agility in all processes and deliver innovative system solutions for our customers.
“We are very happy to be able to carry out a project of this dimension, particularly in such troubled times. Dayco is an innovative, global company that constantly studies the market, develops projects with the world’s automakers and is a true partner to its customers. We offer products to all markets with the highest levels of quality requirements and now, in Brazil, we also have a modern plant, unified and increasingly prepared to serve all our customers,” said Marcelo Sanches, aftermarket director LATAM.
In 2020, Dayco marks 20 years of operation in Brazil and the new plant arrives to realize and celebrate the success of the brand in the country. The company emphasizes that partnering with its customers is what makes all the difference in its work, whether through its own regional teams, capable of offering an agile and personalized service, or all its digital channels.
