The alternator freewheel is a component that is increasingly used in high performance, last generation diesel and petrol motorizations. It is used exclusively in the auxiliary control. It compensates for major inertias and provides improvements to the system, among which:
- Reduced vibrations on the belt
- Reduced tensioning vibrations
- Increased service life of the system
- Reduced noise level of the system
