Description
Built to meet and exceed SAE J2050 specifications, Dayco high-temperature power steering pressure hose utilizes a chlorinated polyethylene tube and cover for maximum operating temperature of 300°. The hose’s synthetic rubber cover is produced to resists oil, ozone and heat again and protects a synthetic rubber tube that is compatible with power steering fluid. Two textile braids that resist high temperatures and permit proper volumetric expansion for system noise damping also provide an additional layer of reinforcement. The temperature range is from -40° F to +300° F (-40 °C to 121 °C).
Dayco’s full complement of MV style and MZ style couplings are also available for use in making power steering assemblies.
